The 30+ Network is organized to
advocate for, provide information and peer counseling to those people
aged 30 and above who have or who will have bowel or urinary diversion
surgery.
We are a “virtual” borderless support group with no
geographic boundaries who are interested in interacting with others
approaching 30 and above, who share similar interests and concerns
about their medical condition and the quality of life they expect to
attain. The network provides information through the publication of a
periodic newsletter and one to one peer support through a mentoring
program featuring the exchange of emails and other communication.
Regular members are, but not limited to, those that are aged 30 and
above who have had bowel or bladder diversion surgery or non-ostomates
such as care givers, spouses / significant others, relatives and
medical professionals who have an interest in the affairs of the
network.
